　　ESWC全球组委会主席致中国区正式启动贺信

　　2005年12月28日下午14点30分，2006电子竞技世界杯中国区预选赛启动新闻发布会在国家体育总局新闻发布厅正式举行，值此激动人心的时刻，电子竞技世界杯（ESWC）组委会主席Matthieu Dallon从法国发来贺信。

　　Dear ACSF delegates,

　　Dear Bele Partners,

　　Dear Friends of the ESWC China Organisation Committee,

　　On behalf of the World Cup Organisation Committee, I would like to congratulate you for this fantastic alliance and for all your sporting initiatives in China. We are honoured to see that you have recognised video gaming as a sport, a discipline involving the pursuit of excellence, a satisfying activity and a tool for social cohesion. Furthermore, we are well aware of your professionalism and experience, and are happy to give your actions and your project our full support as a result.

　　Selecting the best Chinese players for ESWC 2006 is a real challenge. China is the world's largest country and your development in the field of new technologies and high-speed Internet access serves as an example for the rest of the planet. Your champions are now internationally recognised, and their results and performances are improving with each major world event, to the point where China now ranks among the World Cup favourites for many games.

　　I wish all of you every success. It will be a pleasure and an honour for us to welcome you to Paris for the Grande Finale next June. I would like to end by expressing my gratitude to all the official and operational partners backing this human and sporting endeavour, and by thanking the government authorities for their support.
